The resistor types are as numerous as the resistor materials used. In addition, there are types that are conditioned by the type of cooling and the intended application. In terms of the resistor conductors, there are layered resistors (carbon film, metal film), cast iron, sheet and ribbon-wound as well as wire-wound resistors. With the exception of layered and film resistors, all types are manufactured by GINO.
